This Service Careers major will introduce students to the skills required by a maintenance/repair assistant. Students will be able to safety work with the tools and equipment used in the HVAC, electrical, plumbing, basic welding, water distribution systems. Students will also be introduced to the construction techniques related to building in the green environment.

Skills USA provides opportunities for students to enhance their personal and leadership qualities through individual and group projects and through skill competitions which are held on local, state and national levels.
