health logoThis career major will prepare a multi-skilled individual who may work in an acute care or clinical office setting in support role to licensed care givers. The course work includes a core curriculum central to a variety of health professions (HCC Core) as well Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, and First Aid/CPR . In addition, completers will be trained in skills and competencies essentials for Nurse Aids, EKG Technicians and Phlebotomists.

Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) is a service organization for high school and adult students of industrial programs.
