The WWTC Student Services is designed to assist students and prospective students with all phases of their educational journey.

career advisement

The WWTC Guidance and Advisement Team is eager to assist you with your career planning needs. Guiding and Advisement services are available to all students throughout the year and include:

  • A certified school Guidance Counselor
  • A customer-friendly Student Services staff
  • An Assessment Coordinator
  • An experienced Financial Aid Officer
  • An internal Career Advisor
  • A career Advisor/Recruiter

Students are encouraged to make an appointment in Student Services.

literacy program

The ultimate goal of the WWTC Literacy Team is to have all students reading and comprehending on grade level. In creating a balanced and effective literacy program, students will be assessed regularly throughout the process to guide all aspects of the intervention program. Highly effective teachers will be assigned to work with each student to build his or her literacy skills.

career advancement center

The Career Advancement Center is a place where all students have the opportunity to receive extra help to advance reading, writing, technology, communication, and math skills. The Highly Qualified math and science instructors are available to provide extra help and instruction. The Center is also serves as a resource hub for performing research, career exploration and planning, resume and portfolio development, assessments, and interest inventories.

The Center now offers Plato Learning, a web-based instructional solution set up to help high school and adult students advance in their academic skills. The program includes seven courses that are aligned with Oklahoma's state curriculum assessment standards and offers Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology, English II, and English III, Geometry and U.S. History.

The Center also provides Compass Testing, Compass/ACT Preparation, Learning Styles Inventory, KeyTrain/WorkKeys job skills assessment, Career Ability Testing, and the Oklahoma Career and Information System (OkCIS) to help students advance their academic skills.

ged preparation

WWTC offers General Education Development (GED) classes for individuals who did not complete high school and would like to obtain a GED certificate. The GED tests are designed to measure the important knowledge and skills, usually learning during four years of high school, that you may have obtained in a different manner.

Requirements: You must be a resident of Oklahoma and maintain good attendance in the class.

There is no tuition for the class and there is no set class length. Students work at their own pace. The class meets on Mondays, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
