WWTC Offers Cooperative Alliance Agreements With Local Colleges

College credits can be earned through cooperative alliance agreements with OSU Institute of Technology and Seminole State College. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education allows students to receive college credit for their classes at WWTC. College credits can be earned at a cost of $8 (administrative fee) compared to $110.50, which is the average cost per credit hour at community college.

A Fee Waiver Program makes the college credits completely free to students who qualify by certain criteria. Participating High School. students who meet one of the following criteria qualify to have their fees waived and do not have to pay the $8 per hour fee. Criteria include: 1) Student qualifies for free lunches; 2) Student is a foster child; 3) Family income is below federal poverty standard; 4) Family receives federal public assistance; 5) Student is a ward of the state; 6) Student participates in the TRIO program.
