  • CareerTech graduates earn and save more money during a lifetime than those with only a high school diploma.
  • The entry wage of CareerTech Graduates is about 15% higher than high school graduates.
  • CareerTech graduates are hired sooner and advance quicker in their careers than those with only a high school education.


Oklahoma CareerTech students are enrolled in 30,000 college credit hours this semester.

  • CareerTech and Oklahoma Higher Education have teamed up to encourage more students to pursue college degrees.
  • CareerTech high school students can earn high school and college credit simultaneously.
  • More than 4,000 high school and adult CareerTech students are earning highly affordable and transferable college credits.
  • Earning college credit at a technology center saves time and money for both students and parents.


50% of Oklahoma high school students take CareerTech classes.
