Wes Watkins Technology Center offers students the opportunity for "WorkKeys" testing. Students can earn Career Readiness Certificates from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce (ODC) for scoring high on their “WorkKeys” tests. Students are tested over three areas: "Reading for Information", "Applied Mathematics" and "Locating Information".

The certificates provide credentials and identify jobseekers that have the necessary skills to succeed in the workplace. This gives the applicant an advantage when applying for a job and it is a compliment to a resume or diploma. Companies use this system to take the guesswork out of their employee/applicant selection process and have seen reduced turnover among employees and improved productivity and training efficiency.
