Williams Scholarship

 

 
    Nouna Ann Schacher and the late Charles B. Williams established this scholarship fund for qualified individuals who attend WWTC. The scholarship is to honor the memory of their late parents, George Baskerville Williams and Mary Enod Williams of Wetumka. WWTC displays a permanent memorial plaque that lists all of the George B. and Mary E. Williams Memorial Scholarship recipients in honor of this award. Students are selected on the basis of academic achievement, attendance, extracurricular activities, a written essay and awards that they have received.

2006-2007 Williams Scholarship Recipients Announced

Joslyn Alcorn, Holdenville (left) and Diana L. Baker, Wetumka, have been selected as the recipients of the 2006-2007 George B. and Mary E. Williams Memorial Scholarship Award of $500 each.

Alcorn is enrolled in Wes Watkins Technology Center’s Health Careers Certification program and Baker is enrolled in the Adult Health Careers Certification program.
