SSC Classes at WWTC

 

 
   

 

Seminole State College (SSC) will offer two college-level courses at WWTC this summer. Both classes will begin June 1st and continue through July 23rd.

Introduction to Communications (SPCH 1143) will be held on WWTC’s campus from 9:00-10:15 a.m. Monday through Thursday. The instructor is Don Pilgrim of SSC. The cost of the class is $284.85 for adult students. The cost of the book is not included. A new text book will cost $120.45 and a used text book will cost $56.65.

English Comp I (ENG 1113) will meet on WWTC’s campus from 10:25-11:35 a.m. Monday through Thursday. The instructor is Don Pilgrim of SSC. The cost of the class is $284.85 for adult students. The cost of the book is not included. A new text and workbook will cost $147.75 and a used text & workbook will cost $75.28. A $15 applications fee is also due. This is a one time fee paid per semester.

These college classes are free to high school students who meet specific requirements. High school students must fill out a tuition waiver form. Seniors must have scored at least a 19 on the ACT or have a 3.0 GPA. High school juniors must have scored at least a 21 on their ACT or have a 3.5 GPA. The college classes are full price for high school students who do not meet the requirements.

Adult students may apply for financial aid for these summer classes through SSC. Students should contact Tammy at SSC in the Financial Aid department at 405-382-9247.
