Make Your Summer Count at WWTC!

A four day Career Summer Camp will be offered at Wes Watkins Technology Center June 2-5, 2008, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The camp is for students who will be in the 7th and 8th grade next year at partner schools in the WWTC district.

Only 80 students will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with the first ten students to respond from each school being selected. Should less than ten students respond from any school the remaining positions will be filled on a first come basis by students from other schools. Buses will pickup and return students to selected locations. The camp will be cancelled if less than 60 students apply.

A $10 registration fee is required and it will provide daily lunches, morning snacks and a camp t-shirt. Students will engage in hands-on activities in Construction, Service Careers, Computers, Health Science and Mathematics.

The camp will be held on WWTC’s campus and is being sponsored by Oklahoma Tech Prep and WWTC.
