WWTC Surgical Technology Program Ranked 5th in Nation

The Surgical Technology program at WWTC is now ranked 5th in the Nation as named by the Accreditation Review Committee on Education in Surgical Technology (ARC-ST). The program was awarded and recognized as one of the top 20 programs in the nation for successful performance of the Program Assessment Evaluation (PAE), the end-of-the-year assessment examination.

Due to high test scores from the class of 2006-2007, the Surg Tech program is now a member of the "PAE Elite Twenty". The previous class of 2005-2006 was also recognized as one of the top 20 programs in the nation for its scores in 2006. In addition to the national ranking, the program will receive a letter of congratulations and a certificate of achievement from ARC-ST, and will be listed in the AST Instructor's Newsletter and on the PAE website.

WWTC’s Surgical Technology program, led by instructor Natalie Kennedy, is one of only 14 programs in Oklahoma accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
