Gold Star Ambassadors

Being selected as a Gold Star Ambassador is an honor at Wes Watkins Technology Center. To be considered, students are nominated by their instructor and then must go through an interview process. Many apply but only a few are selected.

As a GSA, students attend leadership training classes and assist with meetings, the job fair, 8th grade and sophomore tours, Student of the Month assemblies and many other events throughout the year. In March they attend Leadership Day at the Capitol with other leadership groups throughout the state and are able to sit in on House and Senate sessions. The GSA's are also responsible for planning and presenting the Veteran's Day assembly each year.
