To be eligible for membership in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS), post-secondary students must maintain no less than a 95% average in their technical subject and attend full time. High school students must also maintain at least a 3.5 grade point average at their home school. Members can not have more than four absences during the semester that they are being evaluated. The purpose of the NTHS is to promote the ideal of honesty, service, leadership and skilled workmanship among technical students of America.
