General Information
This program provides instruction in plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and carpentry in the residential and commercial trades, with the opportunity to gain advanced knowledge and specialization in any of these areas. The student will gain knowledge of state codes and regulations in the related fields and will have the opportunity to become an excellent building maintenance person, apartment make ready person, electrician, plumber, carpenter, cabinet maker or HVAC (Heat, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) mechanic.

Students completing this program can answer this question with confidence and expand their career opportunities. There is a need for qualified technicians in Construction, Maintenance, Heating/Air Conditioning, Plumbing and Electrical Trades. Jobs that pay well with excellent opportunities for professional and financial growth. High school students have priority in being admitted to this program and normally attend during the junior and senior year. Students will be given the opportunity to return for an additional year to specialize in a particular skill. Adult students are admitted on a space available basis.

College Credit
The CTT program has been approved and qualifies for college credit through a cooperative agreement with OSU/Okmulgee. Adult students may receive college credits for application toward an associate in applied science degree. High school students may receive advanced standing credit for their career and technology education courses after successfully completing 12 credit hours on the campus and paying the minimal transcription fees.
Student Organization
SkillsUSA is a service organization for high school and adult students of industrial programs. Skills USA provides opportunities for students to enhance their personal and leadership qualities through individual and group projects and through skill competitions which are held on local, state and national levels.
