General Information
The Health Careers Certification program is committed to planning, development and implementation of an individualized performance-based instructional delivery system. This allows an individual to begin at various entry points and progress through the course at his/her own pace depending on individual needs, health career interest, abilities and occupational objectives.
Wes Watkins Technology Center and the Health Careers Certification program provide a learning environment and instruction students need to develop the skills, attitudes and knowledge necessary for successful integration into the world of work. Health care delivery systems are changing with advances in technology supplying new methods of processing information. With these changes there is a constant demand for knowledgeable, competent health care workers. The educational training at WWTC's Health Careers Certification program is constantly being evaluated to keep pace with the changing health care industry.
The Health Careers Certification curriculum covers a rigorous core of information that is important to the entire health occupation cluster. A skilled instructor will supplement, personalize and structure this material to meet the specific individual learning needs.
