Students of Wes Watkins Technololgy Center have the opportunity to compete for the honor of Student of the Month. To be nominated a student must have excellent attendance and grades, participate in classroom and community service activities, and demonstrate leadership and cooperation within their class. They will prepare a brief essay as to why they deserve the honor and participate in an interview with a non-partial panel. Monetary awards from the WWVTC Foundation and gifts from sponsors are presented to both the winner and the runner-up each month. The winners of Student of the Month are eligible for the Student of the Year competition.
