		STUDENT OF THE YEAR Lena Hearrell Lena, a Surgical Technology student from Seminole, was awarded the highest honor of Outstanding Student of the Year for school year 2007-2008. 		FIRST RUNNER-UP David Garlett David, a Construction Trades Technology student from Holdenville, was named First Runner-up for the Outstanding Student of the Year award. He received a cash award of $600. Pictured with WWTC Superintendent, Jim Moore

		SECOND RUNNERS-UP Joslyn Alcorn and Joshua Kissee There was a tie for the Second Runner-up position for the Outstanding Student of the Year award. Each received a cash award of $175. Joslyn Alcorn is a Health Careers Certification student from Holdenville. She is a National Technical Honor Society member and a Gold Star Ambassador. Joshua Kissee is a Surgical Technology student from Wetumka. He is a National Technical Honor Society member and a Gold Star Ambassador.

Other Student of the Month recipients received a $50 cash award for competing and being Student of the Year finalists.
