Tuition Waiver

Tuition Waiver
In-district high school graduates from a WWTC partner school or students who received their high school equivalency diploma while in-district can receive up to a $2,500 tuition waiver towards tuition for the completion of one career option in a full-time program. Students can use the waiver until their 22nd birthday. All students who meet the eligibility requirements receive the waiver. The student will be responsible for the cost of instructional supplies and fees.

This waiver provides tuition-free instruction to a high school graduate meeting the established criteria. The intent of this program is to encourage a student to:

  • receive a completion certificate in a WWTC career option
  • continue education in a technical field after high school graduation or equivalent
  • pursue an associates degree in technical education
  • encourage a student to master advanced curriculum in order to enhance employability

Application Procedures
To receive a WWTC waiver, the student must provide to the financial aid office a copy of their high school diploma indicating graduation from a WWTC partner school approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Education or high school equivalency diploma and proof of their in-district status.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, the student must have graduated from a WWTC partner school or received their high school equivalency diploma while living in-district and be under the age of 22. The criteria for selecting recipients from the group of eligible applicants is based upon the tuition waiver policy. All students who meet the eligibility requirements receive the waiver.
