Facility Maintenance Technician

Facility Maintenance Technician
Facility Maintenance are responsible for keeping buildings in proper working condition. Students will be introduced to the basics of welding, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and custodial care. Students will be instructed on the safety practices and proper procedures to operate related equipment. The Facility Maintenance Technician program also has two second year high school options, with concentration in plumbing or welding.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION

SkillsUSA is a national organization serving teachers and high school and adult students who are preparing for careers in technical, skilled and service occupations, and for further education. SkillsUSA provides opportunities for students to enhance their personal and leadership qualities through individual and group projects and through skill competitions which are held on local, state, and national levels.
